Piʻikū Co. is a Honolulu-based nonprofit helping local and Native Hawaiian talent move into higher-paying tech careers through hands-on project work, a speaker series, and community events throughout the year. In our ~12-week Work-Based Learning program, participants lead real projects for local businesses, backed by mentorship and a community that wants to see them thrive here at home.

We believe Hawaiʻi's tech talent is already here, wants to stay, and can do great work for local companies.

Where we are

We became a 501(c)(3) in 2024 and have been building ever since: 40+ participants supported, about 70 to 75% placed in jobs within 3 to 6 months, and 20+ partner companies. Now we're growing from a small founding team into an organization built to last.

The roles below are a big part of this next chapter, which includes building out a new rural health initiative. Joining at this stage means real ownership and a direct hand in shaping what Piʻikū Co. becomes.

Take a look at the listings below. Each one covers the role, how we work, and how to apply. We'll add more as we grow, so check back.
